Lay Leadership Retreat
Do you value your faith? Do you wish you could help others understand the beauty of our faith as you have?
If the answer to the above questions is “yes”, please join us on Friday, October 27 6:30pm – Saturday, October 28 3:30pm in the St. John the Baptist Parish Hall for “Becoming Missionary Disciples” a Lay Leadership Retreat with guest speaker André Regnier. Come share the day with us and learn how we can help others come to know Jesus! This retreat is free of cost and snacks and lunch will be provided. The Knights of Columbus are planning an Event to raise funds for St. Paul Church parking lot improvements on Friday, November 3rd on your calendar as the date of a Fall Multicultural Dinner / Silent Auction to be held in St. Paul Church Hall. This event will celebrate the rich cultural diversity within our Parish communities. It is hoped to have as many individual First Nations, provinces, states and countries represented as possible in terms of the menu, decorations and clothing / national costumes. The organizing committee is in need of Silent Auction items, ethnic / cultural entertainers, donations of prepared food dishes for the Multicultural buffet and Flags. Yes, we are looking to decorate the hall with as many different flags as possible representing local First Nations, the provinces and territories of Canada, and the flags of the many countries represented in our community, including states within those countries.
